GolfLogix Adds Nassau Betting to #1 Golf App for iPhone
GolfLogix remains the most popular golf application for Smartphones and has added new betting features to further enhance its golf GPS and scoring application. With GolfLogix, golfers get the #1 app for golf, precise GPS distances, a Nassau betting package, multi-player scoring, stat-tracking, plus access to the #1 online golf community. The new version 1.4.1 for iPhone includes exceptional imagery for greens and aerials as well as a comprehensive Nassau betting module. With GolfLogix’ betting features golfers can track up to 10 different Nassau bets all with a simple press of a button. The application keeps everything current at each hole and shot. There is no need to jot notes on a paper scorecard to determine where each player stands. The betting module lets golfers stay in the game while still enjoying the excitement of side betting.
As with all GolfLogix features, the Nassau betting feature is easy to use and quick to learn. Simply enter each player’s name, handicap, and the amount of the wager. Golfers can setup for manual input or a simple two-press auto input. “We wanted to add side betting to our app but keep it simple. You just put in a golfer’s name and handicap and the GolfLogix app will dot the scorecard out for you. That’s it!” says Pete Charleston, president of GolfLogix, Inc. In upcoming releases, the company plans to add other betting games such as Skins. As with all GolfLogix applications, all upgrades are free and available to all current users. To receive the upgraded version, users need to visit iTunes to download the application again. All rounds saved on the phone should be synced to the golfer’s personal website at golflogix.com prior to downloading the upgraded version.
Along with betting, GolfLogix’ Smartphone application has interactive aerial images, 4-person scoring, extended pro-level statistic tracking, and complete app customization features. The stat module includes, fairways hit, greens in regulations, putting outcomes, sand saves, scrambling percentages, and more. These pro-level statistics and more are available on the free downloadable version as are all software upgrades and new feature releases. Golfers can download the application from the iTunes App Store and enjoy capturing their stats and scores immediately. After the round, they can easily sync, analyze and share the information online on a personalized website within the #1 online golf community hosted at golflogix.com. There golfers can compete on the community leader board, exchange comments, compete with friends around the world, create golf groups, purchase discounted golf equipment and much more. The community is free to all golfers.
In addition to the iPhone, GolfLogix can be downloaded to more than 30 GPS-enabled phones including the BlackBerry Curve™, BlackBerry Bold™, BlackBerry Tour™ and BlackBerry Storm™, Storm 2™, Motorola DROID, HTC Touch Pro™ and many more.
